“Death of Me,” the electrifying new single from The Project, is a bold and blistering showcase of what happens when seasoned rock veterans unite under one powerful banner. Fronted by James Davis former lead guitarist of the award-winning band Shameless and featuring powerhouse vocalist Jeff Plant, this track captures the raw energy and emotion of California’s hard rock roots, while pushing into new sonic territory.

Produced by Dennis Hill (Face to Face, Sammy Hagar, Lit), “Death of Me” fuses heavy riffs, soaring vocals, and emotionally-charged lyrics into a compelling anthem of inner turmoil and transformation. With guest performances from heavyweights like Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong) on drums and Erik Ferentinos (Stephen Pearcy/RATT) on lead guitar, the song carries an edge that only a lineup of this caliber can deliver.
