Saturday Sessions by The All’s Eye: A Soulful Fusion of Groove, Grit, and Improvisation

The All’s Eye delivers a strikingly organic experience on their latest EP, Saturday Sessions, recorded live at Barbershop Studios under the expert production of Emmy Award-winner Matt Rifino. This New England-based trio, Ari Joshua (guitar), Ben Atkind (drums), and Kris Yunker (organ), brings together an impressive pedigree of talent from acts like GOOSE, Bearly Dead, and Elephant Proof.

The EP features two standout tracks: “Gramama” and “Say What You Wanna Say.” “Gramama” pulses with gospel roots and electric bluegrass energy, offering a heartfelt tribute to family lineage and ancestral strength. Meanwhile, “Say What You Wanna Say” leans into fiery psychedelia and boogaloo-inspired grooves, reimagined here with jazz-rock improvisation and fearless edge. Both tracks were recorded in one take with minimal overdubs, capturing the trio’s raw chemistry and spontaneous creativity.

The analog warmth and cinematic visuals from Rifino’s Saturday Sessions series enhance the listening experience, creating a sense of presence rarely found in modern recordings. With performances planned across the East Coast and solo projects flooding the April calendar, Saturday Sessions cements The All’s Eye as a must-watch force in the progressive jam scene.
